Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was conceived in Minsk. Sergey the father of her (who passed away in 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka hails from Belarus and was born on 5th May 1998. Her career has seen her been awarded 12 WTA singles titles. One of them was an Australian Open Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. She is also an excellent doubles player. She has won two Majors to her name in this category, that include the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both by Elise Mertens. Alongside her, the Belgian tennis superstar, she won WTA 1000s in Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. Women's doubles only had four couples achieve this feat. In January of 2023 she achieved her highest rank in singles. On the 23rd of August 2021, she rose to the second spot in the world rankings. After winning the Melbourne doubles competition in February 2021, she was able rise up the rankings to take the first spot for this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) played her as a coach for the duration of 2019 in 2018 and through the close of the season. Dieter Kindlmann was briefly with her between August and September of 2020. As of the year 2020's end, she's been trained by her coach, Antonio Dubrov. Her idols include Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
